2 Inch Woven Polyester Elastic, Black, 80% Stretch, Elastic is a product where fabric is woven or braided with strips of rubber to create a stretchable material. The fabric portion of elastic can be made from a variety of materials, such as polyester and nylon. Different blends, both in composition and percentages, create different elongation factors, UV resistance, and return-to-shape characteristics. Weave type, woven or braided, also affects the product's strengths and weaknesses.
